BIOGRAPHY
Andrei Diaconescu is an entrepreneur and investor, and together with Victor Căpitanu he founded One United Properties, the leading real estate developer of sustainable residential, office and mixed-use projects in Romania, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
A professional banker, Andrei Diaconescu started investing in the real estate sector in 2000. From the first residential project developed in 2006, the ONE brand has grown over the years to become a solid business and brand. One United Properties is acknowledged as a Superbrand in the Real Estate/Properties Development &
Management sector. It is also one of the largest entrepreneurial companies quoted on BVB’s Main Market and the only publicly traded mixed-use developer in Romania.
According to Brand Finance, One United Properties is one of the most valuable Romanian brands, the only prestigious, aspirational, exclusive brand in the top 25 most valuable brands in Romania, and the youngest of these brands as well.
Prior to establishing One United Properties, Andrei co-founded Capital Partners, Romania’s largest independent investment banking firm. In March 2016, Capital Partners was acquired by Banca Transilvania Financial Group.
Andrei Diaconescu has graduated the Executive MBA from ASEBUSS in 2005 and International Law from the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece in 1998.
