BIOGRAPHY
Yoni Schimmel is Head of European Real Estate at the UKI Group, his family’s investment office, where he leads the firm’s strategy, acquisitions, and asset management across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. He plays a hands-on role in deal origination, structuring, and execution, with a focus on long-term value creation and market resilience.
In addition to his role at UKI, Yoni is the founder of Commons, an international coworking platform. He is also the founder of Serenity, Romania’s leading residential buy-to-let portfolio platform, which integrates property ownership, in-house management, and lifestyle-focused branding to deliver high-quality rental experiences at scale.
Prior to these ventures, Yoni oversaw the family’s real estate investments in Central America, managing development and repositioning projects across multiple asset classes.
He holds a BA in History from University College London, where he was named to the Dean’s List, and an MPhil in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge.
